About Me

Hi, I'm Ashley — the artist, educator, and heart behind I Have Plans For You.

I’m a self-taught illustrator, hand lettering enthusiast, and creative techie who believes that art should feel like encouragement.  I design journals, stickers, coloring books, and creative resources that bring comfort, joy, and inspiration to everyday life.

Whether I’m drawing whimsical characters for a coloring book, teaching brush lettering like a trusted friend, or creating playful STEM activities for kids, I’m all about making creativity feel approachable, meaningful, and fun.  I love drawing floral illustrations and creating cute and whimsical patterns.

I wear a lot of hats — artist, web developer, small business owner, wife, and mom — and I understand how busy and beautiful life can be. That’s why everything I create is designed to make space for delight, reflection, and a little more light in your day.

I also teach classes in the North Alabama area, and I offer in-person classes at the Burritt on the Mountain Folk School a few times a year.

At the heart of everything? A mission to blend cheer with purpose — and to help others feel seen, supported, and inspired through the power of creativity.

The name, I Have Plans For You, is both a wink and a warm truth.  It’s about more than calendars and to-do lists.  It’s about hope—that even when life feels uncertain, creativity and compassion can help us find our way.
